Dear Mom+dad+family
Sorry its only one letter i don't have a lot of time to do anything In fact this is my first free hour. But i am doing good. My body is fine except a couple soar parts. THE LETTERS HELP ALOT SO KEEP THEM COMING IT IS WRITTEN IN THE HEAD "LIGHTS TO LIGHTS CHOW TO CHOW SUNDAY TO SUNDAY". Its sad that from day one you are counting down how many days you hae left. Alot here sucks But alot is good. I eat good get some sleep. I got caught singing in the chow hall So i had to stand and sing the song in front of the platoon which would have been fine exept it was Redneck Women. So you get use to things fast here Eating fast screaming all the time. Marching and getting nalied and showering with 52 guys. But it has its fun parts. Im still waiting for them. lol. But yeah pray for my back It has been bugging me lately. well mom i can succesfully say i have quit chewing. Some of the traininer here is tuff. We hit each cause it builds up muscle some strange things, I have done some things i never thought could have done. Climbed a rope marched for hours, and an absitcle course that looked impossible i did ireally hope you all can make it down i have alot here i want to show you. well i got to run please write mre it HELPS i will try to write as much as i can i miss you all and love you and i know i am doing the right thing I love you all Love Bud

Dear Mom and dad,
Well they don't give us much time to write so I have to sneak it in. Well it is definitely not like what anyone has said. It is strange to have somebody tell you what to do 24 hours a day. When to eat, sleep. pee. It's OK though I am making it. Oh just so you know don't send me anything except letters make sure you tell everyone that cause all I will get is letters but I am doing good. I find the drill instructors amusing. We have 3 regulars then one senior drill instructor we didn't get to sleep the 1st two nights here they have been pounding marching into our heads I'm purdy good at it but my back has been kinda bugging me the last couple of days but don't worry I am fine. Its funny when we march they will get mad at us for getting out of step with cadence, but it's hard to hear it when they are screaming. I find it hard not to laugh when they are screaming in my face and spitting all over you it is funny I think. especially when one of your drill instructors is 4ft8 and Mexican with a funny accent. But they are cool. I like them. Eating is not a problem I get plenty of food we don't exercise that much I feel like I am getting lazy. but they say we will next week. I graduate June 19th If everything goes to plan. make sure you tell everyone I wont be able to write much I don't even know when I will be able to get this off. Oh just so you know this 20090329 is the date I will break it down for you year: 2009/03 month/29 day. So times is about to run out but I will write more later. And try to send this out as soon as I can. We got P.T. Next oh yay! I wrote this first Sunday here.
